Flexiv Launches Robotics Software for Easier Programming

February 22, 2022
Flexiv, a general-purpose robotics company that develops and manufactures adaptive robots through industrial-grade force control, computer vision, and AI, has announced its Flexiv Elements software, an all-new operating system for robots. The software is designed to provide integrators with new features that simplify complex robotic operations for customized programs to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The software features an intuitive graphical user interface, allowing users to program their adaptive robot with drag-and-drop function modules to create an ideal workflow. Capable of generating applications that incorporate fine force control and AI, and with several existing customizable pre-built plans, Elements lets users work faster and accomplish more, Flexiv said.
In addition, Elements enables real-time monitoring and the control of a robot’s pose, motion, force and position. Flexiv said even those new to the field of robotic programming can always be in complete control.
“The Flexiv Elements operating system is an integral part of our robotic ecosystem and will be an indispensable tool for integrators,” said Shuyun Chung, co-founder and chief robotics scientist at Flexiv. “Since 2019 we have been working on improving and optimizing the Elements system, and we are proud to release it to the world today. We will continue to develop our software solutions so users will be able to maximize the potential of their robots. We’re excited about the future applications of the Elements system, and we look forward to seeing users bring their ideas to life.”
