Comau Robotics Partners with Ferrari to Support Robotics Education

Comau Robotics has partnered with Ferrari to help create the e.DO Learning Center, an educational environment for students and teachers that uses the e.DO robot to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) subjects, coding and robotics. The center recently opened at the Istituto Istruzione Superiorie (IIS) in Modena, Italy.
The companies said the initiative highlights the increasing importance of bringing robotics from the factory to new sectors, as well as providing students with a unique learning environment that can be fun and engaging and teach skills that can be used for future jobs.
The learning center is a hands-on concept that provides teaching materials and tools to help students from eight to 19 explore robotics, coding, and STEM subjects through the support of the e.DO robot. Soft skills and work culture are also taught as part of the educational path, the company said. The center will include five six-axis robots from Comau, along with materials and accessories.
