The company has now raised more than $39 million to expand its automated process for the way tissue is processed onto glass slides via “sectioning”, or cutting a cross-section of the tissue specimen.

Helm, which develops next-generation artificial intelligence software for autonomous driving applications, has announced raising $26 million in Series B funding. The funding will help the company serve its growing customer bases, and accelerate product expansion of its highly scalable approach to autonomous driving software.


Nommi 400x275Nommi, a robotics startup developing customizable bowl-based meals, has announced it is seeking to raise up to $20 million in seed capital, and is now open for reservations. As part of the investment, Sam Nazarian has led funding as part of a 50/50 deal to establish robotic Nommi kitchens in partnership with his global food tech platform, C3 (Creating Culinary Communities).


KodiakRobotics400x275Kodiak Robotics, which is developing self-driving trucking systems, has announced it raised $125 million in an oversubscribed Series B round, for a total of $165 million raised to date. The company said it will use the new funding over the next 12 months to double employee headcount by adding at least 85 new people to the team, expand autonomous service capabilities from coast to coast, and add a minimum of 15 new trucks for a total of at least 25 autonomous vehicles.

The company said it will use the capital to scale its team to support its first aircraft certification program and expedite the launch of commercial cargo operations.


DexterityFundingDexterity, which creates intelligent robotic systems for logistics, warehouses, and supply chain companies, has announced it raised an additional $140 million in Series B equity funding and depth. The company said it will use the new capital to support the growth of the company as its first thousand robots are deployed into production. The latest funding raises Dexterity’s total capitalization over $200 million with a valuation of $1.4 billion.
