Han’s Robot Launches Automated Arc Welding System

November 22, 2022
China-based Han’s Robot, which develops collaborative robot systems, has announced a new automated arc welding system aimed to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and stability of welding.
The company said welding industry operators face high deployment costs with traditional industrial robots, high learning costs for welders, and high requirements in terms of the welders’ abilities. Because of this, traditional industrial robots and manual welding are options that fail to meet specific needs of many companies.
Han’s Robot said its automated arc welding robots can be applied to small-batch and multi-variety flexible production lines. Features include easy teaching, high safety and flexible deployment, creating the solution to challenges such as the lack of skilled welders and increasing cost pressure.
The system uses carbon dioxide and argon gas to ensure higher welding stability, high-quality welds and flexible deployment. The company said it can guarantee repeatable positioning accuracy (+/- 0.02 mm) and provide long-term uninterrupted high-quality welding. The system can be suitable for metal processing, automotive, shipbuilding, kitchenware and bathroom industries, the company said.
The company said it has attracted more than $100 million in funding and employs more than 500 employees across 25 countries and research. The systems include intelligent perception, zero-code programming, and zero-slip power failure.
